Anoushka Shankar

Anoushka Shankar, a British American musician and sitarist, is well known for her music. She was also the very first and youngest female to be awarded an award from the British House of Commons Award. Anoushka Shankar is a rising young star of the Indian sitar. She's the daughter of Ravi Shankar and a former student. She was born in 1982 in London. The first few years of her life were spent in London as well as New Delhi.
